What is it in life that we are seeking?

In my belief and experience we seek because we think that what we are looking for is outside of ourselves.
What if were not actually seeking anything? But rather wanting to free ourselves?
So ultimately, we are seeking freedom.
Freedom from societal expectations, fear of judgment, or any self-imposed limitations to our true self and desires.
Human society is so distracted by the expectations and pressures of life that we become trapped in a constant cycle of chasing outside of ourselves to fulfil us. We become restless and bound by a system that doesn’t serve our soul, and we forget the simplicity of our natural state of being and the freedom and inner peace that we came here to experience.
Our lives, when led by fear, create this doubt within us and lead us to believe that it’s unsafe to trust our own hearts, and create the life we desire which would lead us to experience life in its highest form.
Instead of this being the natural way of life, it becomes only a dream and becomes an ongoing challenge within our mind that we may struggle to break free from every single day.
What we are truly seeking is liberation and freedom to express who we really are and to live out experiences that align with our authentic self. We are here because we are an expression of divine energy, but we may not express this fully because we create our own prison.
This is the gift of life, true expression of who we are, our hearts desires have not been placed there by accident.
When we have faith in creating a path of our own and live the life of our dreams, the proof of this truth becomes inevitable.
Living authentically comes with its challenges no doubt, in a world that is so comfortable with conformity, we require courage, self- acceptance and first and foremost trust in ourselves.
After my own personal experience of this realisation and being able to express myself wholeheartedly in the way I speak, show up for myself and act in the world my perception and understanding of life has become more profound, and the freedom, joy and inner peace it has brought to me reflects who I am today.
What we are looking for already exists within, we seek to free ourselves from everything in its way.
